Building Relationships

Communication is one of the cornerstones of progress. Before, during, and after your appointment we are here to answer any questions you may have. During your appointment we encourage you to communicate with your therapist, whether it be asking for more pressure, less, or an early stop to your appointment.

Our therapists are educators. They may have advice or homework for you to do at home as needed. We encourage our patients to take this to heart.

If you're ready to schedule a massage, message us on facebook, call us, or book online on Clinicsense!

Prenatal Massage can relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. It is tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant people and their changing bodies. We have a pregnancy table that allows you to lay face down to your comfort level and pillows to aid with your comfort laying on your side.

Deep Pressure Massage

Deep Pressure Massage is used to break up scar tissue, muscle adhesions,  bands and points of rigid and painful muscle tissue

which are common after an injury or surgical procedure.

These areas can inhibit circulation,  causing pain and inflammation.

Deep Pressure Massage can also  help lower cortisol levels and increase levels of oxytocin, a hormone that relaxes the body and produces soothing effects.

Deep pressure work on tissue can also help with physical symptoms of stress, tight muscles and tension headaches.

$125 for 60 minutes

Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Lymphedema

Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, specialized massage technique for a healthy lymph system that focuses on the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. This type of massage aims to help the body maintain proper blood circulation, body fluid balance, and immune functions, helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues and reduce post-operative swelling.

 $125 for 60 minutes

Lymphedema work is similar to  Manual Lymphatic Drainage  but takes place with a lymph system that is overloaded or unhealthy.

Lymphedema work will require a referral from your physician.

Massage for Vascular and Migraine Headaches

Research shows that professional therapeutic massage can decrease pain, tension, duration, intensity, and frequency of headaches.

Massage also eases the muscle tension in the neck, jaw, and shoulders.

Your therapist may use heat or cold therapy to assist in easing your pain.
