Deep tissue massage is used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle adhesions (the “knots” that we feel in our muscles are muscle adhesions, which are bands of rigid and painful muscle tissue). These knots can inhibit our circulation and cause pain and inflammation.
Deep Tissue massage can help lower cortisol levels and increase levels of oxytocin, which is a hormone that relaxes the body and produces soothing effects. Deep tissue work can also help with physical symptoms of stress, tight muscles and tension headaches.

Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, specialized massage technique for a healthy lymph system that focuses on the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. This type of massage aims to help the body maintain proper blood circulation, body fluid balance, and immune functions, helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues and reduce post-operative swelling.

Lymphedema work is similar to Manual Lymphatic Drainage but takes place with a lymph system that is overloaded or unhealthy.
Lymphedema work will require a referral from your physician.

A red light therapy device does not harm the surface of your skin or the underlying tissue. You will be provided with light-blocking glasses for your appointment.
