Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our office policies. Upon your first appointment we will review these with you in person — but we encourage you to read through them before you arrive.

Office Policies

Cancellation Policy

Last minute cancellations and no-shows have a significant impact on our ability to serve our clients. Preparation for your treatment begins well before you arrive — and because we limit the number of appointments we take to ensure the highest quality of care, every scheduled slot matters.

By booking an appointment with Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage you are agreeing to the following cancellation policy:

  • You must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or change an appointment.
  • In the event of a last minute cancellation or no-show, you are responsible for the full cost of the scheduled treatment. Insurance does not cover cancellation or no-show charges.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, your session will be considered canceled and the full cost of the service is your responsibility.
  • If the cancellation policy is not honored, future appointments will require prepayment at the time of booking.

Appointment confirmation and reminder messages are sent as a courtesy. Failure to receive these communications does not exempt a cancellation or no-show from this policy.

We understand that life happens — this policy is not intended to penalize you. It is part of the agreement you make with Quiet Raven to protect our ability to serve you and every client on our schedule.

We respect everyone’s time and always end sessions at the scheduled time without exception. If you arrive late your session will be shortened accordingly — the full session fee still applies. We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time to check in and speak with your therapist before your session begins.

Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage is a professional therapeutic practice. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any remarks or conduct that attempts to solicit sexual services of any kind.

Any such attempt will result in:

  • Immediate termination of your session
  • Full charge for the scheduled service
  • A formal report filed with local law enforcement
  • A $500 inconvenience fee
  • Permanent denial of future bookings

Our massage therapists are committed to maintaining complete professionalism at all times. If you feel a therapist has acted inappropriately toward you in any way, please notify the manager on duty immediately.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for full payment of services for minor patients in the event that insurance does not cover the treatment. A parent or legal guardian must remain present in the treatment room for the duration of all appointments involving minors.

Financial Policy

At Quiet Raven we are committed to providing the highest quality therapeutic massage care.

To ensure clarity around payment and insurance we ask that you review and understand our financial policy before your first appointment.

Payment

Payment is expected in full at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Checks are not accepted.

We do not courtesy bill insurance but are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider directly for reimbursement. Please be aware that not all insurance plans cover therapeutic massage services. We strongly encourage you to contact your insurance provider before booking to confirm your coverage. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and you remain financially responsible for all charges in the event your claim is denied.

As outlined in our cancellation policy, missed appointments and last minute cancellations are charged at the full cost of the scheduled service.

Insurance does not cover no-show or cancellation fees — these charges are your financial responsibility.

Your privacy is important to us. In accordance with HIPAA regulations we do not release any patient information without a signed release authorized by the patient. Please allow three business days for any records you need copied or transferred.

Payment processing is handled securely through our payment provider. Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage does not store credit card or debit card information on our servers.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment with Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage or using our website you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms please do not use our services or website.

Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage provides professional therapeutic massage and wellness services at our Wasilla and Palmer locations. All services are performed by licensed massage therapists. Services are provided for therapeutic and wellness purposes only.

All appointments must be scheduled in advance through our online booking portal, by phone, or through our Facebook page. Walk-in appointments are not accepted. By booking an appointment you agree to our cancellation policy as outlined in the Office Policies section of this page.

It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant health conditions, medications, or contraindications to your therapist before your session begins. Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage reserves the right to decline or modify services based on health and safety considerations.

Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time at our discretion, including but not limited to violations of our sexual harassment policy, disruptive behavior, or failure to disclose relevant health information.

Quiet Raven Therapeutic Massage is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of our services beyond what is covered by our professional liability insurance. Therapeutic massage is a complementary wellness service and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
