Booking & Appointments
We’re here to help you with your inquiries.
You can book your appointment either online through our ClinicSense portal or by calling us at direct at our Wasilla or Palmer locations. We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm, with Saturdays available by appointment. Please note we do not accept walk-ins at this time — all appointments must be scheduled in advance.
Your therapist will begin by reviewing your intake forms and checking in with you about your health goals and any areas of concern. Nothing is rushed — this conversation is part of your treatment. During the session we encourage you to communicate openly about pressure, comfort, or anything else. When you leave your therapist may also share home care advice or exercises to support your progress between sessions.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle — staying hydrated before and after your session supports the work your body is doing. If you were sent intake paperwork prior to your appointment please bring it completed so your therapist can review it before you begin.
Your session will run for the exact time block you scheduled. We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes early so you have time to settle in, get changed, and speak with your therapist before the clock starts. We respect everyone’s time and always end at the scheduled time without exception.
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations, no-shows, or arrivals more than 15 minutes late without notice will be charged the full cost of the scheduled session. Please note that insurance does not cover cancellation or no-show fees — these charges are your responsibility.

Quiet Raven offers a full range of massage therapy and wellness services including therapeutic massage, deep pressure massage, neuromuscular massage, prenatal massage, manual lymphatic drainage, lymphedema treatment, massage for vascular and migraine headaches, assisted stretching, red light therapy, and auriculotherapy. Every service is tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Deep pressure massage works directly on the muscle tissue — breaking up scar tissue, adhesions, and areas of rigid painful muscle that are common after injury or surgery. Neuromuscular massage targets the nervous system rather than the muscles themselves, using alternating concentrated pressure on areas of muscle spasm. Both are highly effective for pain relief but address different underlying causes — your therapist can help you determine which is the right fit for your situation.
Yes — prenatal massage is safe and beneficial during pregnancy when performed by a trained therapist. At Quiet Raven we have a specialized pregnancy table that allows you to lie face down to your comfort level, along with pillow support for side-lying positioning. Our prenatal sessions are tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant bodies at every stage.
Red light and near-infrared therapy are non-invasive surface treatments that use specific wavelengths of light to support your body at a cellular level. Research indicates benefits including improved wound healing and tissue repair, reduced inflammation, better joint and musculoskeletal health, decreased depression and fatigue, and anti-aging effects for skin and hair. Sessions are 30 minutes and protective light-blocking glasses are provided.
Please note that red light therapy is contraindicated for those with retinal conditions such as diabetes-related eye disease, and for those using photosensitizing medications including lithium, melatonin, phenothiazine antipsychotics, and certain antibiotics. If you are unsure whether this treatment is right for you please consult your physician first.
Auriculotherapy is a form of reflexology that uses pressure points on the exterior of the ear to address pain and health conditions throughout the body. At Quiet Raven we use Earseeds® — tiny seeds secured with a small piece of tape that apply constant gentle pressure between sessions. It is non-invasive, long-lasting, and can support conditions including back pain, sciatica, insomnia, headaches, migraines, anxiety, stress, and depression. Non-latex tape is available on request.
Yes — massage therapy is widely recognized as an effective complementary treatment for chronic pain management. Deep pressure massage is specifically designed to address conditions like frozen shoulder, neck pain, and post-injury or post-surgical discomfort. Neuromuscular massage targets nerve-related muscle spasm patterns. Your therapist will work with you to build a treatment approach tailored to your specific chronic pain needs.
Pricing & Insurance
We’re here to help you figure out the best treatments for you situation.
Our services range from $35 to $175 depending on the type and duration of treatment. Most 60-minute massage sessions are $125 and 90-minute sessions are $175. Focused 30-minute treatments for headaches and stretching are $65. Red light therapy and auriculotherapy are $35 for 30 minutes. Payment is expected at the time of service and we accept cash, credit, and debit cards.
At this time Quiet Raven accepts VA insurance billing only. We do not accept or bill civilian insurance of any kind. Payment for all other services is expected in full at the time of service.
Most of our services do not require a referral. The one exception is lymphedema treatment, which requires a referral from your physician before booking. If you are seeking massage as a complement to another medical treatment we recommend discussing it with your healthcare provider — our therapists are experienced working alongside other medical care and are happy to coordinate when appropriate.
